Support
Support for our products is primarily provided through our Support Forums.
Included in the purchase price is access to any product updates that
may be released by Lescasse Consulting. Such updates generally consist of
bug fixes and minor enhancements. By contrast, significant new versions
of our Software are usually released as chargeable upgrades. Also included
in the purchase price is ongoing support by email (eric@lescasse.com) while
a version is current. Lescasse Consulting endeavours to support customers
using older versions of its software, but such efforts are necessarily on
a 'reasonable effort' basis.
Licensing
A licence of wBackup is needed for each machine on which it is used. APL+Win Objects 5 licenses for the Full
Library are Site Licenses:
additionnally, if you build applications based on APL+Win Objects,
there are no royalties due.
APL+Win Objects 5 licenses for individual
objects are on a per User basis:
there are no royalties involved.
Delivery
All our software are delivered electronically: you will be emailed
your serial number and/or download instructions. This eliminates
shipping charges and shipping delays. It also avoids customers
installing from cd-rom only to find immediately that an updated version
is available online. It also helps preserve the environment. The
only exception is for APL+Win 3.5,3.6 or 4.0 customers purchasing the
APLDN Subscription with APLDN Premium who also purchase the APL+Win
4.0 and/or APL+Win 5.0 Manuals.
